The Villa College “Faculty of Marine Studies & Water Sports” is covering 1084.5 sq. meters, located in the western tip of Sun Island Resort & Spa, the south end on one of the best locations in South of Ari Atoll. All surrounded by green plantation and a crystal clear lagoon just a few meters away from the Villa College campus. One visit to the College is enough to convince anyone to gain knowledge and become a professional in a leisure environment.

The Faculty houses forty candidates in air conditioned rooms with hot water showers and an own ocean view balcony. As well broadband internet connection is available. The Faculty has a marine laboratory, fully equipped dive center, and a fully equipped hyperbaric clinic. Accessible by sea plane or by speed boat, approximately 30 minutes and 2 and half hours from Male’ international airport.

There is absolutely no other Diving School like the Faculty of Marine Studies & Water Sports in the Maldives. It is the only Faculty located in a five star resort which teaches the courses in multi language for training. Right from the beginning Faculty of MS&WS ensures that it provides the best education possible from knowledge and experience. Practical experience is gained in one of the biggest resort and the dive centers in the Maldives.

Affiliated with PADI to train divers Faculty of MS&WS is a PADI five star Instructor Development Center with an active for 10 years PADI Course Director full time employed.

COURSES AND PRICES

PADI Open Water Diver Course Dates: 5^th to 11^th of every month

Advanced Open Water Diver Course Dates: 13^th to 16^th of every month

Emergency First Response Course Dates: 19^th to 20^th of every month

Rescue Diver Course Dates: 22^nd to 27^th of every month

Dive master Course Dates: 1^st for 35 days starts every month

Participants must take minimum two courses, below the package prices.

1. Open Water + Advanced US 1’460.00 / 13 Days

2. Open Water + Advance + Rescue US 1’961.00 / 21 Days

3. Open Water+ Advance+ Rescue+ EFR US 2’558.00 / 24 Days

4. Open Water +Advance+ Rescue+ EFR+DM US 4’814.00 / 65 Days

PACKAGE OPTION 2

1. DM + Rescue US 3’104.00 / 49 Days

2. DM + Rescue + EFR US 3’404.00 / 52 Days

3. DM + Rescue + EFR + Advance US 3’998.00 / 57 Days

Above prices includes:

· Course price

· The required dives with equipment

· Training materials & certification for the courses

· Student Visa and all Government taxes

· Accommodation at the college campus

· Full board meals at the main restaurant of Sun Island

· Transfers from/to Male international airport
