Broken Rock

Broken Rock is in Dhigurahshu Kandu, just northeast of Digurah Thila, Marine life highlights include sightings of schooling reef fish, pelagics and turtles, byt the main attraction is an amazing canyon that cuts all the way through the thila, from its top at 12m to the bottom at 24m.
The canyon is about 50m long and 3m wide. Its sheer walls are fractured with crevices and encrusted with sponges and soft corals, and the canyon is filled with reef fish. Large sea fans with soft corals sprout from the currents exposed thila walls, creating a gorgeous but delicate dive environment where the currents attract schooling bluelined snappers and barrucada.
